Finance in Horizon Europe: Getting started and planning ahead

Horizon Europe (HE) has been launched, and a few rounds of calls have passed. Budgets for proposals for these calls had to be prepared in the absence of any Annotated Model Grant Agreement for HE. Where can we look for guidance and clues for budgeting HE proposals at the current stage? What are the key financial rules that we should be aware of? What do we know so far? For the financial management of HE projects, what should be addressed in the short, medium and long term? How may we develop our budgeting tools? How may we prepare for the grant preparation, start and implementation of the first HE projects? How may we navigate in a landscape of evolving rules and guidelines?

This session takes place with Per Inge Andresen, a senior adviser in financial and project management of European projects at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and Marija Šola Spasić, project manager at the University of Belgrade – School of Electrical Engineering.
