Early each year, EPRS produces an annual ‘Economic and Budgetary Outlook’ for the European Union. The 2022 edition will be launched at this online event, which will look at economic forecasts and trends for both the EU and euro area, and the role of the EU budget in the European economy. The focus will be on the question of how strong and sustainable the current recovery is likely to prove in the face of multiple challenges, from geopolitical instability to energy rises and supply-chain issues. This year’s publication also has a special section on building resilience through investment. Please join leading MEPs, international economic officials and think tankers for what promises to be a timely discussion of Europe’s road to economic recovery.
