Starting Sept 8, more than 750 vaccinated travellers from Germany and Brunei have been approved to enter Singapore without quarantine, if they clear COVID-19 tests. Most of those who have received travel passes under the Vaccinated Travel Lane are from Germany. About 300 are short-term visitors, while over 430 hold long-term passes like student or work passes. The other 20 are from Brunei, with 90% being short-term visitors. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore said it’s a cautious start to the scheme, adding that it will build confidence as Singapore reopens its borders.
